Abdullaah ibn Salaam (radhiAllaahu ‘anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ
O people!

أَفْشُوا السَّلامَ
spread the greeting of salaam,

وَأَطْعِمُوا الطَّعَامَ
feed others,

وَصِلُوا الأَرْحَامَ
maintain the ties of kinship,

وَصَلُّوا بِاللَّيْلِ وَالنَّاسُ نِيَامٌ
pray at night while the people sleep,

تَدْخُلُوا الْجَنَّةَ بِسَلامٍ
and you shall enter Jannah, safe and sound.
